Important Meeting at Madhuramangalam Emperumanar Jeeyar Mutt on 12-Jun-2011, Sunday by Trustees and Mutt Sishyas , which will decide the future of Madhuramangalam Emperumanar Jeeyar Mutt, Goshala, Sri Vaishanava Old Age Home, Library, Nithya Thadhiradhana (Daily Free Food), Divya Desha Yathra and Developments at Embar Avathara Sthlam in Madhuramangalam
We appeal to all the Sishyas, Devotees and Well wishers of the Madhuramangalam Emperumanar Jeeyar Mutt & His Holiness Sri Yatiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy to kindly attend the meeting and extend your kind support to help us to continue the mutt.
Maduramangalam Mutt & Temple is located near Sunguvar Chaththiram, near Sri Perumbhudhur, the birth place of Bagavath Ramanujacharya. Madhuramangalam is the birth place / avathara sthalam of Sri Embar (Govinda Bhattar), cousin brother of Swami Ramanujacharya. Madhuramangalam is referred to as dakshina madhura (then madhura). 1000 years old majestic temple is housing the divine sannidis, for Sri Kamalavalli Thaayar Sametha Sri Vaikunta Perumal and Sri Embar Swamy, is located next to the holy pushkarini full of colorful lotus flowers. The main utsavams celebrated are the Brahmotsavam in the Tamil month of Chithirai and the Embaar avatara utsavam in Thai. At Madhuramangalam, the present pontiff of the mutt, His Holiness Sree Yatiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami, is running a veda / agama / divya prabhandam patashala (Ramanuja Siddaantha Vardhini) and SriVaishnava Old Age Home. Accommodation & Thadhiyaradhana (Prasadam) is provided in mutt for free to all the devotees attending utsavams.
Our Salutations to the first present pontiff of Madhuramangalam, His Holiness Sri Yatiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy who had decided to have darshan of 108 Divya Desam Perumal’s now and re-bring the World into the Clan of Sri Vaishnavism so that entire World would the get the bliss / fruits to the roots laid by H H Sri Ramanuja Charyulu and to bring out the Divinity into the hearts and souls of entire human kind.
Thus, we are happy to inform you that the 108 Divya Desams tour is organized by the srikaryam, mutt in association with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, TTD and SVBC Channel, which is being telecasted by Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel, on Every Wednesday at Night 10:30 PM & Mondays at Morning 10:30 AM.
We have successfully visited 106 Divya Desams & 12 Alwar Acharya Birth Places (Abhimana Sthlams ) and got the divine blessings of Divya Desam’s Perumal, Alwars & Acharyas with more than 500 mutt sishyas & devotees. This was only possible by great efforts of HH Swamy.
It is said that who completes the 106 Divya Desha Yathra on this earth, only gets the opportunity to have darshan of 107 & 108 Divya desams. HH Swamy attained paramapadam on 09-May-2011. We can assume that, HH Swamy left to eternal world to have darshan of 107 & 108 Divya desams, where one cannot reach with this body, but can only with soul. HH Swamy blessings is always with us.
After the HH Swamy attained paramapadam, the mutt is facing litigations, which now poses threat to further existence of mutt, old age home, goshala. library in madhuramangalam.
Devotees can reach Madhuramangalam, Either from Chennai or Kanchipuram.
From Chennai, we have to take bus to Kanchipuram Via Sunga Vari Chatiram ( S V Chatram) and get down at S V Chatiram. From S V Chatiram we have autos & buses to Madhuramangalam.
From Kanchipuram (Kanchi), we have to take bus to Chennai Via Sunga Vari Chatiram ( S V Chatram) and get down at S V Chatiram. From S V Chatiram we have autos & buses to Madhuramangalam.
Devotees interested in this sacred kainkaryam of thadhiyaradhana or any other kainkaryams shall inform the sri karyam team of mutt.
Thus, all the devotees are requested to contribute to the great cause and seek the blessings of the Mercyfull HH Swamigal of Matam, and also of Perumal’s - Shri Ramachandra and Sri Kamalavalli Thaayar Sametha Sri Vaikunta Perumal, Sri Embar Swamy and Sri Ramanuja Swamy.
