Dear bagavath bandus,
In this threadwe have posted the nectarian vakyams (As answers to the question raised by the disciples) of our beloved acharyan, His Holiness sree yatiraja narayana ramanuja jeeyar swami.
Hope this will help all the members of the community to have glimpse of the feel of satsangam @ acharyan's tiruvadi.
Question 1:
swamiji, why every vaishnava should surrender unconditinally to bagavath ramanujacharya and what is the speciality of being adorning ourself as adiyen ramanuja dasan?
Answer(HH):
Its very logical question that you have asked. lets understand it like this. we know from srimad bagavatham that bakta prahlada was about 7 to 8 years old when lord sriman narayana came in the form of nrusimha swamy to protect him and killed his father hiranyakashipu.
Since prahlada served lord with devotion for 6 to 7 years, lord took one avathaaram itslef to protect him and saved him from all evil forces. where as bagavath ramanujachaya, the incarnation of adishesha, who has served the lord since billions of years (since the beginning of this srishti) as his eternal bed, on which the lord sleeps.
When this is the case, just imagine the amount of importance that lord srimannarayana would give to adishesha. thats why we say that the glories of swami ramanuja can not be explained by mere words. wont it sound logical to that if you surrender on to the lotus feet of bagavath ramanuja(adi= first, sesha = servant, the first servant of the lord in this universe), he will solve all our problems in spiritual life and take us back to godhead, sreevaikuntam, our eternal home.
Hence, if you surrender to the lotus feet of ramanujacharya and adorn yourself as "adiyen ramanuja dasan" you are assured of mukti.
